Situated in Waltham, Massachusetts - a short distance from cosmopolitan, historic downtown Boston - Brandeis University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) enrolls more than 800 students across seventeen PhD programs and over 40 full- and part-time master's and certificate programs. As a small world-class research university, Brandeis combines an emphasis on both teaching and research through close interaction between faculty and peers.
